This fast paced and fun filled half day tour begins at Cabeza del Toro where our office is located. Our experienced guides give an introduction in how to handle our vehicles, and you will have an opportunity to familiarize yourself with a practice run before we head out. Safety is our first concern!
Our route covers all the different types of terrain suitable for the ATV motors. Riding through mud, sand and rough terrain, we invite you to discover a part of the Dominican Republic that is rich in natural beauty and spectacular scenery. Throughout the day your guides will share their extensive knowledge of the local culture, history and nature.
We begin our journey heading in the direction of Juanillo on dirt paths, passing through small agricultural villages. We continue alongside the ocean until we arrive at Cabo Engano where the history of the site is explained by your guide. Here you will have the opportunity to take pictures and have refreshments. We continue our trek along the beach until we arrive in a rural area, where snacks are served with more refreshments. A short (5 min) horseback riding stretch is included (optional)! This tour is both exciting and fun and brings out the child in all of us. Expect to get down and dirty!!!
What to bring: Comfortable clothes and shoes, bathing suit, sun lotion, sun glasses, camera and money for souvenirs. Snacks and soft drinks are included.
